About Coyote Brush | California Land Clearing

Land clearing done respectfully and thoughtfully

A California company started by people who care about California land. Arborists, horticulturalists, and crews who treat property like the long-term asset it is.

Our Story

Why Coyote Brush exists

We started Coyote Brush in 2021 after years of watching land clearing done poorly across California. Crews showing up with oversized equipment, scraping properties down to dirt, taking out mature oaks because it was faster than working around them, and leaving the land worse than they found it.

The land deserves better than that. The people who live on it do too.

So we built a different kind of company. Trained arborists and horticulturalists on every crew. Equipment scaled to the property, not the other way around. Honest pricing. A real conversation about what your land needs before anyone fires up a saw.

From the Central Coast to the Sierra Foothills, we serve homeowners, vineyards, and rural estates across California. We work with the climate, the seasons, and the long-term health of the property in mind.

What We Stand For

Three principles, every job

These aren't marketing values. They're the standards we hold our crews to on every property.

Respect the Land

California's native ecosystems took generations to develop. We protect mature oaks, preserve native cover that holds soil, and refuse to clear-cut as a shortcut. Land management is the long view.

Right-Size the Work

Hand tools where they belong. Compact equipment where it fits. Scaled machinery only when terrain allows. Heavy-handed work damages more than it solves.

Be Honest About It

Transparent pricing. Free site walks. No upsells, no fuel surcharges, no surprise haul-away fees. The number you see is the number you pay.

Our Team

Trained to do this right

Every crew includes professionals with backgrounds in arboriculture, horticulture, and California fire science. We don't hire general labor and call it expertise.

Our team understands which native species belong where, which trees the law protects, how fire moves through different fuel types, and how to time work so the land recovers well. That knowledge shows up in every estimate and every finished job.
